摘要

In this paper, a mathematical morphological gradient (MMG)-based quick fault detection scheme is designed for the series-compensated transmission line (SCTL) connected with wind-fed power plant (WFPP). The proposed scheme uses the attributes extracted from the MMG to detect the fault type. The SCTL-WFPP power system has been designed in MATLAB/Simulink. The outcomes of simulation suggest that the scheme execute efficiently to give 100% precision and substantiate the efficacy of the proposed scheme.
