Exploring the Application of BIM Technology in Bridge Inspection

BIM has been widely used in construction, municipal engineering, electric power, transportation and other engineering fields, but the researches and applications in bridge inspection are still at an early stage in recent years.Aiming at the shortcomings of the traditional bridge inspection, giving full play to the advantages of BIM visualization, digitization, coordination, to explore the application of BIM technology in the bridge inspection process and combine with engineering practice experience, verifying the feasibility of BIM is applied in bridge inspection, making more information-based, systematic and intelligent testing of bridge, providing a new train of thought for bridge testing workers.
