Image Tampering Issues in Social Media with Proper Detection

In recent days due to obsolescence of conventional photograph, digital images are used vastly, but tampering of those digital images has become a common practices due to availability of low cost image manipulation software. Detection of photograph whether it has been genuinely taken by a camera or manipulated can’t be executed only by seeing it. As a consequence, the image can’t be reliable so far to be placed as proof in any places. Different social media websites like facebook, twitter, myspace etc allows the users to use a platform where they can post various pictures. Hence tamper detection of digital image has been a trend in research area to establish the authenticity of images or photographs due to its great societal impact. This current work offers to provide tamper detection technique for the images used in social media.
