Simulation and optimization of the cross-docking operation scheme of logistics center : In the case of decathlon yanjiao logistics center

For the existing problems of Decathlon Yanjiao logistics center, based on analyzing the operating process of applicable items for cross-docking, the cross-docking operation scheme was presented for Decathlon Yanjiao logistics center. By designing the simulation scheme, the Flexsim simulation model was set up, and the optimal results were analyzed respectively under three different principles of working fastest, time-cost minimum and equipment vacancy rate-cost minimum. Finally, the comprehensive analysis was made up using the cost-to-efficiency index, and the rational scheme of 2.9 hours for working time and 17.27% for equipment vacancy rate was obtained to ten thousand pieces goods. The analysis process and result not only provide the reference for optimizing the cross-docking operating scheme, but also provide a visual method for optimization of logistics distribution scheme under different conditions.
