Advanced superior execution time design of the Wiener time-frequency (TF) filter suitable for the non-linear highly nonstationary frequency-modulated (FM) signals has been developed and is recently proposed in [1]. The advanced filter [1] extends applicability of the recent instantaneous frequency (IF) estimation-based solution from the linear to the non-linear FM signals, retaining all desirable properties of the IF estimation-based solution regarding the hardware and calculation complexity and the execution time. Here we consider appropriate lengths of registers used within the implementation of the advanced TF filtering solution, as well as the format of the imported input data.
