摘要

In this paper, a method was introduced that analyzing and researching the root cause of the failure of high voltage bushing by engineering de-structure and simulation technology. Through the implementation of engineering de-structure technology, the internal fault of the high voltage transformer bushing failure had been understood actually, the design inner structure and related parameters had been obtained exactly. Based on the above basis, the design model was constructed, the simulation calculation and analysis had been accomplished, the reason for the failure of the bushing was obtained and the optimization design had been applied to a new type bushing which had been installed instead of the old type one. Operation status shows that the new design of bushing is very successful.
