In this paper the work has been done on the detection of sleep paralysis, during REM state of sleep, with the help of EEG signal analysis. The work included a circuit which reads the signal and verifies it w hether EEG, EOG and EMG response is positive or negative, if the response is positive the circuit sends the signal to database to record it and then send it to another person who is beside you. Sleep paralysis is scientific and also known as REM atonia, the paralysis that occurs as a natural part of REM (rapid eye moment) sleep. As the REM atonia closely related to REM sleep it also depends on rapid eye movement and EMG signals which are formed by movement of muscles. However, the individual experiencing sleep paralysis is unable to speak and EMG interface shows that movement of muscles are available or not.
