Development of Automatic Welding Machine for Tube-to-Tubesheet Joints of Heat Exchanger

摘要

an automatic welding machine is designed to deal with the heavy workload and worse welding quality of the tube-to-tubesheet joints of heat exchangers. By using the expanding mechanism, the center of rotation of the welding torch and the center of tube can be accurately aligned in a short time. The control device adopts ARM microcontroller for process control. The results show that the automatic welding machine adapts to the situation which the tube has a smaller diameter and unable to rotate.
