An immunosensor for the detection of malachite green in water and fish samples was developed. GNPs with good biocompatibility and good electroconductivity were fabricated onto the surface of a gold electrode (GE). The polyclonal antibody was immobilized on the electrode. Under optimal conditions, the proposed immunosensor exhibited a sensitive response to malachite green in the range of 0.032 ~100 ng/mL, with a detection limit of 10.7 /mL in buffer. Recoveries of malachite green from spiked water and fish samples ranged from 84.2% to 113.8%, indicating that the proposed immunosensor potential can be used for the detection of real samples.
