Research on correlation between modal and vibration of EMU bogie

Regarding the abnormal vibration of the axle end grounding device of the EMU bogie, a comprehensive modal analysis method combining the test mode and the calculation mode is proposed to carry out the modal analysis and vibration research of the key components of the bogie and the system. Based on the principle of modal correlation, this paper establishes the rigid-flexible coupling analysis model of the bogie system through calculation and test modal results bench marking. Using vibration response analysis and testing frequency response function methods, the vibration transmission characteristics is obtained that from the wheel set to the frame. The results show that: (1) The bogie system has local vibration of the axle end grounding device near 580Hz in the ready state; (2) The vibration transmission to the axle box and axle end grounding device is amplified; (3) The axle box rotating arm is the vertical bending mode has the most obvious influence on vibration. Corresponding vibration control measures are proposed in the article, which provide research ideas and analysis reference for subsequent bogie system structure optimization and fault diagnosis.
