Research and application of gas pipeline safety planning based on quantitative risk analysis

pipeline is one of the most applicable gas transmission methods. In order to strengthen the risk identification and layout optimization of pipeline, this paper constructs a set of quantitative risk assessment system for gas transmission pipeline. Combined with the method of regional quantitative risk assessment and gas pipeline system integrity management, regional safety planning and analysis of gas pipeline were carried out. Then, by using the “51-safety” service platform, the pipeline was simulated and analyzed in terms of consequences, risks and distances, and the chart of personal and social risks of the pipeline was calculated. The results show that the personal risk level is 1.00E-5, and the social risk is in the acceptable area. The results are compared with the standards to provide guidance for pipeline safety design and basis for safety planning of surrounding areas.
