摘要

This study presents a strategy to reduce protein/cell attachment through a novel polysaccharide coating similar to biological anti-adhesive surfaces. Results suggest that protein/cell resistance of pCD coatings decreases with increased crosslinking, while coatings at the lowest ratio are not technically feasible. Future studies will investigate the capacity of pCD coatings to reduce surgical adhesions in animal models of hernia repair.
