We propose a novel, cloud-integrated, Metro-Access node that is architected as a DataCentre, overcoming known Leaf-and-Spine limitations by exploiting PON systems and WDM for scalability. We demonstrate an SDN control-plane capable to rapidly instantiate connectivity resources within the node to interconnect intra-node servers with very low-latency.
