The paper studies a method of forming a mathematical model of a synchronous machine when exposed to voltage drops on the exciter. A local integral transform was used as a partial local Fourier transform for the transition from the continuous variables to the equations in finite differences of constant structure. After that, the reverse transition to the mathematical model of the constant structure in continuous variables.
