摘要

Fibre reinforced polymers are commonly used in many industrial branches. The technical progress in applied science and technology requires advanced materials. The desire to reduce the structure weight and its manufacturing costs may affect the safety and reliability of designed structure. Safety and reliability requirements result in the development of a variety of structural health monitoring systems and non-destructive testing techniques. The paper presents a comparative study of three methods (FBG sensors, THz spectroscopy and thermography) to study their sensitivity and applicability limitations with reference to the simultaneous influence of temperature and relative humidity.
