摘要

The aim of this research is to provide arguments for choosing the most appropriate artificial intelligence mechanism for specific medical predictions. Naive Bayes classifier and artificial neural networks are used to make suggestions regarding the evolution of patients infected with hepatitis B virus. A detailed analysis of their features and performances is provided. Both methods offer reliable results and are suitable to assist medical decision-making.
