The communication between the Primary Transmitter (PT) and the Primary Receiver (PR) may not always be effective in Energy Harvesting Cognitive Radio Networks (EH-CRN) because of inadequate signal to noise ratio and interference. In addition, the spectrum sensing and transmission processes are also less energy effective. In this paper we suggest a framework for Relay Selection in Energy Harvesting hybrid CRN. Here, a set of Cooperative Secondary Transmitters (CSTs) are chosen as relay nodes for the PTs in energy harvesting. If the PR could not decode the signal from PT, then the chosen Cooperative STs are used by PT to communicate. The suggested framework is implemented in NS2 and the performance metrics such as packet loss, transmission latency, probability of successfully delivered data and residual energy are measured.
