In this paper, we analyze an electrically impermeable crack model in one-dimensional (1D) hexagonal piezoelectric quasicrystal and derive the solutions in terms of the extended Stroh formalism. Then, the extended intensity factor is obtained. The extended stress, extended crack opening displacement near the crack tip, and J-integral or energy release rate are all expressed by the intensity factor. Numerical calculations are used to investigate the distributions of extended stress near the right crack tip and the influence of different field loads on the energy release rate.
