This paper presents the characteristics of a wrapped resistively loaded antenna for short range sensing applications. The wrapped antenna is fabricated on a flexible substrate of 0.13 mm thickness. The wrapped antenna with resistive tapering proposed and its performance metrics are evaluated. The wrapped antenna combined with drone arms targets remote sensing applications using multi-copters.
