摘要

RGB-D Face database is a multimodal database based on Kinect. This paper focuses on pre-processing techniques for depth data that involve face detection, registration and facial feature localization which are very critical for face authentication and identification systems. Faces are detected in the range data, assisted by detection of face on corresponding texture data using Viola-Jones detector. Validated faces using a depth PCA classifier are registered using conventional ICP algorithm. Finally Nose tip and eye comers are localized on registered faces.
