An equivalent circuit model based on composite right-left handed transmission line is investigated in this paper. The dispersion relation of the equivalent circuit model is derived and a zero order resonator is designed using one-dimensional composite right-left handed transmission line model. Compared with traditional filters, the ultra-broad bandpass filter can achieve any specified impedance matching bandwidth with proper adjustment. Simulation results show that the filter has perfect spectral characteristic, which can be introduced to the application of frequency selective network of oscillator. Finally we use electromagnetic simulation software to design corresponding circuit and further validate the performance of the filter.
