Peak Load Regulation Method Considering Wind Power Accommodation Based on Source-load Coordination

摘要

When large-scale wind energy is integrated to the power grid, the demand of system reserve capacity will rise, but the equivalent inertia of the system will decrease, which brings great pressure to the peak load regulation of the power system. In this paper, interactive load as a schedulable resource is integrated into the traditional day-ahead scheduling of the system. The scheduling method of source-load coordination is used to inhibit the random and intermittent output characteristics of wind power. A solution of unit commitment and interactive load switching is conducted by using Gurobi Optimizer. The results show that the scheduling method of source-load coordination is beneficial to the utilization of large-scale wind energy.
