Since the high stability of the circular polarization state of the beam and the polarization modulation do not drastically change the beam intensity, the problem of interference between the uplink and downlink information of the modulating retro-reflector laser communication is well solved. In the background of free space laser communication, the BER performance of circular polarization reverse modulation laser communication system is studied. The OPTISYSTEM simulation software is used to establish the system simulation model based on the echo power analysis of the modulating retro-reflector laser communication system. The bit error rate of the laser communication system based on On-Off-Keying and Circular Polarization Shift Keying modulating retro-reflector is calculated according to the simulated signal-to-noise ratio, and the highest modulating rate is given under a certain bit error rate.
