METHOD FOR AUTOMATING PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF BASE STATION MANAGER IN CELLULAR RADIO TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A performance analysis data management method in a cellular radio telecommunication system is provided to automate the processes of selecting and analyzing desired data which a BSM(Base Station Manager) collects from a BSC(Base Station Controller). CONSTITUTION: A performance analysis data management method comprises the steps of a BSM collecting performance data from all the BSC(Base Station Controller) at intervals of one hour and storing the data at a directory(s110), a user inputting an ID for a desired BSC and executing a data analysis tool on a personal computer(s120), the personal computer reading the performance data on the all the BSC from the directory of the BSM(s130), and extracting the data of the desired BSC among the data read from the directory, converting the extracted data into an analysis basic data, and doing the analysis based on the basic data(s140). The analysis basic data comprises an origination/termination call number, a paging number, a position registration number, an intra/inter soft add handoff number, an intra/inter soft drop handoff number and so on.
