With the consideration of practical application, an index system of evaluation based on the standard and regulation for dry-type transformer is proposed. According to the characteristics of index system, the fuzzy matrix on indicator evaluation and the remark set could be established. Meanwhile, the weight based on experts` remark and the comprehensive fuzzy evaluation matrix abiding by layered theory could be constructed. Then, the mathematic model of operating evaluation for dry-type transformer could be established. Furthermore, the result could be tackled by the fuzzy method of distribution, and the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process adapted to the evaluation of dry-type transformer operation is proposed. As is demonstrated by the engineering project , the method is practical and the result obtained by the method is of great feasibility and comprehensive. Therefore, the method has a great reference value for the construction of maintenance plan.
