Network topology planning is the basis of tactical communication network planning. Network topology optimi-zation is of great significance in tactical communication network node configuration, network architecture construction, networking application, etc. When excute network topology optimization, multiple possible indicators/objectives which may even conflict with eachother have to be considered. In this paper, we select two negative-correlation indicators as network efficiency and network invulnerability. Based on the classical multi-objective evolutionary algorithm SMS-EMOA, with node number and each node's degree unchanged strategy, this thesis implemente details of tactical communication network initial population generation, network individual crossover, mutation, pruning and other genetic procedures. The connection relationship, network flexibility and topology structure are analyzed in each optimization direction through simulation. Analysis and network structure topology visualization show that the proposed method can significantly improve the network invulnerability and network efficiency of the initial network population at the same time, which proves the proposed method's effectivity in tactical communication network topology optimization.
