摘要

The microstructure of spheroidal graphite cast iron matrix subjected to austempering is called ausferrite, which is composed of ferrite, similar to bainitic ferrite in steels, and retained austenite with high carbon levels (1.8 - 2.2% C). Cast iron with this microstructure is called ADI (Austempered Ductile Iron). Chemical composition of cast iron used in this research is shown in table 1.
