摘要

In this study, the technology for the production of carbon-bonded alumina filters was successfully adopted for an upscaling by triple-coating replication towards industrial tests in continuous casting. Calculations showed that the filter definitely is able to treat high amounts of steel in the range of industrial batches under average conditions. The lab-scale steel casting test showed that the components are resistant to stresses in contact with steel. Furthermore, the proper priming and melt flow are ensured. First industrial tests confirmed these assumptions.
