摘要

Experiments under operating conditions were carried out using AlSi8Cu3 alloy to examine the beneficial modification effects of excess strontium concentration. The aim of the experiments was to determine the additional AlSr10 quantity to achieve the beneficial Sr content for the recommended modification. The quantity of added strontium concentration and the method to regulate the strontium concentration was changed. The level of the modification of test bars casted during thermal analysis and final castings was determined with cooling curves and standard images.
