The purpose of this publication is to present the results of an empirical study of the attitudes and intentions of students from TU-Varna for the realization of entrepreneurial activity. In this connection, the opinion of the target group (a profile of the students in terms of their entrepreneurial attitudes) has been studied and concrete measures have been proposed to encourage entrepreneurial initiatives among young people. On the basis of the research, the following results were achieved: the respondents opinion was studied, the profile of the students was identified, opportunities for raising the students’ attitudes, knowledge, skills and competences were identified to start up their own business and/or implement an entrepreneurial idea.
