A characterization theory of noise in power systems is presented. Noise sources, noise measurements and noise filters are presented. The power difference between two intensities causes interference of noise. The intensity of power for any source of noise from a particle body is a function of development of various stresses. Noise defined as 'a sensation of unwanted intensity of a wave', is perception of a pollutant and a type of environmental stressor. The unwanted intensity of a wave is a propagation of noise due to transmission of waves (viz. physical agents) such as heat, fluid, fire, electricity, sound and light. The standard sources of noise, their definitions, their measurement equations, their units and their origins under limiting reference conditions are presented. The classification of noise filters as per source of noise signals from noise power systems is exemplified. The noise power systems are organized as per source signals of solar power, electric power, light power, sound power, heat power, fluid power and fire power. The noise filters are differentiated as per source signal of unwanted frequencies from solar power, electric power, light power, sound power, heat power, fluid power and fire power. Finally, Noise characterization theory is discussed on various aspects.
