VANET Routing Protocol Simulation Research Based on NS-3 and SUMO

摘要

Smart traffic is the key part of smart city. The routing algorithm of vehicle ad-hoc network (VANET) is the key basic part of smart traffic. Simulation is a indispensable part to study VANET routing algorithm. However, there are a few drawbacks on current researches such as few references focusing on the simulation, blindness to choose proper simulation platform, hard to realize algorithm and so on, which brings great difficulties to researchers. Aimed at the above problems, this paper proposed an economical, simple and general simulation process and implementation method, which can greatly reduce the time cost in simulation link and improve the success rate of algorithm research.
