AMTech CAPE Turbine Materials Standards Road Map: An Industry-Led Road Map Supporting the Next Generation of Power and Propulsion Manufacturing, Maintenance and Repair

Increasing foreign investments in the advancement of gas turbine technologies are threatening the US gas turbine industry's market share both nationally and internationally. Along with federal investments, pre-competitive cooperation efforts among the US gas turbine industry is required to develop the fundamental technologies necessary for next generation gas turbines. Through extensive dialogue with industry representatives, priorities for such pre-competitive collaborations in the fields of materials, advanced manufacturing, nondestructive evaluation, digital thread, maintenance, repair & overhaul, and workforce have been identified and outlined.
