Design and implementation of the middleware for smart home gateway based on SIP

摘要

To meet the network requirement of the heterogeneous characteristics and future development of the smart home, a system architecture based on the Session Initiation Protocol(SIP) for smart home gateway is proposed. A middleware is designed in this paper to solve the data interaction problem between standard SIP and device services and provide the Interactive gateway application services for the external user of the family network based on sip. In the meantime, to settle the frequent access problem of the gateway database in the smart home, a database middleware is designed as well based on the mechanism of the database connection pool. Moreover, the feasibility of this scheme is proved by platform implementation and experiment verification based on the Linux embedded system.
