This paper aims to study problem of the delay-dependent stability analysis for T-S fuzzy systems with time delay. A novel Lyapunov- Krasovskii functional is proposed to investigate stability problem of T-S fuzzy systems with time delay. Relaxed Wirtinger inequality is employed to estimated functional cross terms of derivative of the Lyapunov - Krasovskii functional, and free weighting matrix is also employed for stability analysis. Stability condition can be obtained within the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Several numerical examples are given to demonstrate the advantage and effectiveness of the proposed method by comparing maximum delay bounds with some recent works.
