摘要

In this paper, a field weakening control strategy to improve the performance of a Four Switch Three Phase Inverter fed three phase induction motor drive in the highspeed region is proposed. A method to control the flux current component (Id) and the torque current component (Iq) for the field weakening region is proposed. The feasibility of the proposed strategy is verified by simulation and validated by the experimental results. Results shows by applying the proposed strategy the speed-torque characteristics and motor efficiency are improve in the high-speed region.
