Novel Synthesis Methodology of Lowpass Networks Comprising Generalized Cascaded Quadruplets

This work presents a novel methodology enabling the synthesis of lowpass networks comprising generalized cascaded quadruplets (GCQs). The methodology derives the proposed networks from their canonical lowpass counterparts upon the re-synthesis of sub-network blocks in an intuitive fashion. A lowpass filter comprising two GCQs is synthesized and the steps involved are presented demonstrating the design methodology.
