Analysis on Parking Characteristics and Sharing Conditions of Appertaining Parking Lot in Urban Typical Combined Land

In order to alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of urban parking, and improve the efficiency of parking facilities, the characteristics including time-varied occupancy, entrance, and exit properties, parking duration in different types of land are analyzed based on the parking shared parking theory using traffic survey data in Nanjing. The results reveal that there is a difference on parking occupancy rate of different types of land in at different times. At the same time, using the dynamic changing regularity of the vehicle, sharing windows in different types of land are obtained. Additionally, the features of long-term and short-term parking of different land use are also achieved through the analysis of the characteristics of parking duration. It provides the basis for the decision-making of sharing window, sharing interval, and duration of different land use.
