The modeling of the catamaran equipped with the wind turbine

The problem of maneuvering against the wind often arises in the navigation. For sailing vessels, tackling is the solution. Such vessels are moving at an angle to the wind. It turns out that with the help of a wind turbine, it is possible to offer another solution, which ensures the wind powered motion strictly against the wind. It is shown that the catamaran is able to move against the wind due to the wind force. For the catamaran a mathematical model is constructed, the equations of motion are written out.
