In most biometric systems, the user's biometric information is stored unprotected directly, which causes a huge security risk. Therefore, this paper proposes two cancellable finger vein encryption schemes based on fuzzy vault and fuzzy extractors respectively. The former solves two issues about the existing fuzzy vault: it is difficult to resist correlation attack, and binding a short key can affect the security of the system. The latter combines two-level error correction codes and traditional cryptography proposing a cancellable encryption scheme. The biometric is encrypted by a chaotic sequence based on the user's token and then fused with the key. Through experiments, both of two schemes achieve acceptable performance along with the identity privacy.
