In this context, the artificial intelligence method is used to make plate recognition based on deep learning and to help the restaurant implement an automatic settlement system. The customer simply places the plate in the “clearing area” and calculates the price to be paid and settles based on the results of the plate identification. This system has the characteristics of fast speed, accurate accounting, good experience and no manpower. It can improve the operation efficiency of the restaurant and provide customers with a better self-service settlement experience.
