A miniaturized wideband amplitude equalizer is presented in this paper. The proposed equalizer is obtained by using LC series resonator and LC parallel resonator. For the demand of miniaturization and low-cost of the feed network of phased array antennas systems, the MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) technology is used to implement the physical layout of the proposed amplitude equalizer. The EM simulation results indicate that the amplitude equalizer, with 3dB amplitude equalization capacity (positive slope) and a size of 0.8mm×0.54mm×0.1mm, can be applied in the feed network of phased array antennas.
