The system of bearingless switched reluctance motor (BSRM) has the characteristics of nonlinear and strongly coupled, and the complicated mathematical model increases the difficulty of controller design. This paper proposes a coordinated control strategy based on adjustable turn-off angle, namely guaranteeing the stable levitation of BSRM, the torque is compensated by delay turn-off of main winding to offset the pulsation. The port controlled Hamilton (PCH) model of the rotor mechanical system is derived, and the controller of the rotor mechanical system is designed with the passivity-based control (PBC) theory. Based on the collaborative simulation platform of ADAMS and MATLAB, the simulation model with the coordinated control strategy is established by virtual prototype technology. The simulation results verify effectiveness of the proposed method, and provide a practical co-simulation idea for further study on control system of BSRM.
