EEG is the main manifestation of the brain's nerve cell group's physiological activities. It can effectively reflect the physiological activities of nerve cells in the brain. Because of this, EEG plays an irreplaceable role in the study of brain science and clinical medicine, and it is also an important tool for diagnostic analysis of epilepsy. In this paper, we discover that the symbolic relative entropy (SRE) of the a wave data of EEG signals in Lead F8 and Lead T6 is quite different. In other words, through the α wave data of the EEG signal in the Lead F8 and Lead T6, we can further understand the pathogenesis of epilepsy, so that we can efficiently and accurately predict epileptic seizures and reduce the incidence of epilepsy.
