This paper presents a design of Embedded based Assistive System for Yoga (EASY) and its implementation for the yoga postures analysis. Yoga is a proven solution for the human physical and mind activities. The human posture analysis or gesture analysis in noninvasive methods are highly appreciable solutions. In this regard, the proposed newly designed EASY is integrated with image processing techniques. The node points are marked on human anatomy as per skeleton joints virtual method. In the work, an image based skeleton approach algorithm developed to analyze the Yoga postures like Parsva Tadasana. The Embedded based Assistive System for Yoga is embodied using Kinect sensor and LabVIEW. The experimental results of EASY published for real time subjects (human) through this paper.
