Household energy management by means of load, lighting and water monitoring systems have become a helpful tool to help users to measure and reduce their power and water costs for consumption. This work presents a low cost IoT-based system with a real time application to monitor and control load and water demand, in order to have a smarter and more efficient use of these two indispensable resources. Data are uploaded to internet and historical analysis can be established. Consumption and water flow values are display on cellphone display and load control is performanced as well.
