State Perception Event-triggered Communication Scheme for Networked Control Systems

This paper attempts to pursue a state perception event-triggered communication (SP-ETC) scheme under the networked control framework. Based on the period detection, the SP-ETC scheme, which adjust its event-triggered threshold according to the state perception in real time, is first presented. Then, the stability criterion and corresponding controller design for the studied NCS are well derived under the proposed SP-ETC by choosing an appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and solving linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The main improvement of the presented SP-ETC is that the transmission frequency will cart to the system running state adaptively. To the end, some simulations are conducted to show that the designed SP-ETC is benefit to balance the control performance and communication efficiency.
