Study on End Face Defect Detection Method of Bearing Inner Ring

摘要

According to the requirement of the on-line defects detection of bearings and shortages of traditional manual detection method, an end face defects detection system of bearing inner ring is developed based on machine vision. Firstly, it extracts the ROI region from the end face image. Secondly, the image is located and segmented by binaryzation and edge detection. Finally, the defects are recognized by calculating the compactness coefficient and local background comparison method. The experimental results show that the system can effectively detect the end face defects of bearing. It has good realtime performance.
