Process of majors selection in SMAN 2 Tasikmalaya less than optimal, this allows less precisely recommendation. After majors selection done, the school give a scholarship for high achieving students as many as three students for natural sciences major and two for social sciences major, the source of scholarship is from alumnus. The process of determine scholarship also have not been effective and still use estimate, it’s feared doesn’t give the right decision. The criteria for majors selection and scholarship recipients are: school exam score (english, indonesian language, math, natural science, social science), national exam score (english, indonesian language, math, natural science), IQ Score, Student Interest in Natural Science, Student Interest in Social Science, Parent Advice to Natural Science and Parent Advice to Social Science, Final Score of Majors Selection, Home Distance, Transportation used, Non Academic Achievement, Parent Income, Parental dependents and Parental Ownership. In this research designed a decision support system that can be optimize of majors selection and scholarship recipients which is converted into PHP programming language. System design tools using SDLC while the technique of database design using ERD. The method that used is Multifactor Evaluation Process for determining majors selection and The Distance To The Ideal Alternative for determining scholarship. The result of Decision support system can help the school provide recommendations in majors selection that 82% of accurate and then could give recommendation scholarship recipients.
