Can Plants and Fungi Cure «The Wounds» Using Silicone Gel?

The paper first discussed the idea of a possible role of the process of polymerization/depolymerization of organic silicone gel in the plants in the processes of wound healing. Preliminary data on the formation of "scar" tissue from amorphous silica with organic inclusions in plants after experimental wound are presented.
